Thank you very much for your reply. Its good to know it can be done, but its not a very good solution for me, as in addition to Vienna suite I also use the wonderful UAD card (which I would want on more than just my orchestral mix). Not to mention that I actually do use Logic plugins as well :)
I guess I'll have to wait and see ...

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but its my limited understanding that MIR is a mixing host, and as such you need your DAW, all sample libraries, and MIR all running on the same computer, correct? If so, then its still impossible for Logic/Mac users to run MIR, even in bootcamp, as Logic is a mac OS only software. :(

AWESOME! So with a combination of Logic pro (8-cores max) and VE pro you can take full advantage of all 12-cores on a the new mac pro's today? If so, this makes the new 12-core mac pro much more appealing for audio production!

I'm looking into getting a new 12-core mac pro when they are released, and run Logic pro as my main DAW. It is my understanding (cant test this) that Logic currently only supports 8 cores with no hyper-threading, meaning that if I get a 12-core mac I would be unable to use 4 of my cores! I saw that as well. I hope its a temporary problem, but this is a major deal breaker for me! To me it seems like VSL will need to update their exs tools to 64 bit? Anyone think they will continue support, or is this the end of the road?

Thanks for the update. However, I'm experiencing problems. Every time I try to open up Kontakt 2 within VE pro, it crashes. I can open up Kontakt 2 fine in Logic, and K2 use to work fine in older versions of VEpro (dont remember which version, but it was either the 2nd or 3rd build) but since updating to this build it no longer works. I believe logic has to be playing your arrangement in order to send tempo data. Try playing your song and auditing loops while its playing.
