Is it possible to load my older VSL samples, used in the Logic pro7 ESX24 sampler to the V I manager so that I can use them in the Ensemble instruments plug in, or do I need to reload these samples from the original CD onto my computer.

This seems to work: clicking the Vienna Ens button in the corresponding Inst. track, in the Logic arrange window that in turn, brings up the little server interface window and then ticking the box for "synchronous Processing".

I'm getting a very bad crackling noise when I play back 2 tracks of the soprano choir in Logic pro 7.I'm using two seperate audio instrument tracks each one, with it's own, Vienna Ensemble plugin. I've tried changing the midi values in the inst. tracks and the plugins and changed the voices but still cracklin.

Yes, clicking the Velocity Xfade slider while holding down the alt key brings up the map control. Works a treat.

Is it possible to assign the modulation wheel of my keyboard to control the velocity or the volume in the V ensemble plug-in?
This is a feature that isn't in the Soprano choir . but came as a standard default for the legato instruments in the Performance set, pro edition.

Hey Albert,
Hats off to you using Finale to compose on. Having used Logic for a few years now I recently tried Finale as a composer tool and found it incredibly awkward.
